Passengers can now book Etihad Rail trains from Al Dhaid Station in Sharjah. Tickets start at Dh19, while the train can take passengers from Al Dhaid to Fujairah in just 25 minutes. The station is available for bookings from September 30, 2026. It gives people in central Sharjah a direct train service to Fujairah and Abu Dhabi.
Bookings reviewed by Khaleej Times on September 29 showed two daily trains in each direction between Al Dhaid and Fujairah. There are also two daily services each way between Al Dhaid and Abu Dhabi. The new service starts as Etihad Rail also prepares to begin passenger services from Al Yalayis Station in Dubai on September 30. That station will offer direct train services to Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.
Al Dhaid to Fujairah Train
The train journey between Al Dhaid and Fujairah takes about 25 minutes.

Passengers can also travel from Al Dhaid to Abu Dhabi by train. The journey takes about 1 hour and 24 minutes.

Where Is Al Dhaid Station?
Al Dhaid Station is in Muragabat, Sharjah. Etihad Rail says the station serves communities in central Sharjah and gives them a new rail link to other parts of the UAE. The station is listed as open from 5am to 11pm every day. Passengers can find several services at the station, including:

- Ticket vending machine

- Pick-up and drop-off areas
Passengers can also use Uber and Sharjah Taxi to travel to or from the station.
Bus Services From Al Dhaid Station
Passengers can also reach the station by bus. An Etihad Rail bus stop is about 50 metres from the station.

- ER3: Jubail Bus Station

The station has 26 parking spaces. This includes:
