Dubai will welcome the year 2026 with trademark flair, as dozens of spectacular fireworks shows are planned throughout the Emirate at midnight on the 31st December. The authorities have announced that the first day of January 2026 will be declared a holiday by both the public and private sectors, giving visitors and residents the chance to party into the night.
Nearly 48 fireworks displays are scheduled to take place at 40 different locations this year. These include iconic skyscrapers, waterfront promenades, and quiet desert or mountain areas.
