UAE Schools Confirm Eid Al Adha Holiday Plans, Emphasize Academic Stability

UAE Eid Al Adha school holidays

Because the UAE is on the verge of the Eid Al Adha holidays in May, schools nationwide have reiterated that the academic calendar will be maintained more or less the same with some freedoms only given flexibility within the official regulations. The announcement comes amid growing questions by parents and students بشأن whether or not the holiday فترة would be extended.

Education leaders explained on the one hand that even though Eid is a great cultural and religious event, protection of instructional time is a fundamental priority. Schools are making efforts to ensure that a balance is achieved between the observance and continuous academic development.

Organized Leeway in Regulatory System

According to the school administrators, there is some flexibility in the calendar approved. The principals can give up to three extra days of leave, based on the coincidence of the public holidays with the weekends. Nevertheless, a change of this nature should be within regulation permits and it should be reported to the appropriate authorities.

In order to alleviate possible learning incongruities, schools can use compensatory mechanisms including extra lessons or long working hours. These are used to ensure continuity and to reduce gaps in academics.

Wellbeing and Continuity in Lead

No significant alterations in the calendar are expected in the international schools. Rather, a consistent focus is placed on the stable learning settings and helping the students to work through their emotional and academic recovery after the recent upheavals.

The leadership at school pointed to the constant work to make the re-entry to full in-person studies as one that is smooth and that students feel encouraged, both academically and psychologically.

Academic Focus by Exam Readiness

In institutions that have examinations ahead especially in Indian curriculum المدارس preparation is a major priority. Schools are bolstering organised revision plans and using online resources to incentivise ongoing learning خلال the vacation time.

On the whole, schools in the UAE are taking a contingent step, celebrating the significance of Eid Al Adha but not letting the progress of learning and student growth be left behind.
