The repositioning of Al Mamzar Beach Dubai, UAE after a massive re-development exercise has officially opened the beach to the residents and visitors of Dubai.
The revamped beach now incorporates more leisure activities such as water sports, a new beach of night swimming and a new float walk which has been added. This boardwalk is a major attraction connecting Al Mamzar Lagoon with Al Mamzar Corniche to make it easier to get in or around.
The beach has been divided into two main zones:
Al Mamzar Lagoon Beach
This 2.75 million square-foot area is supposed to be a recreational environment that helps individuals join with their families and have active recreational time together as a family unit. It features:
- 300-metre night swimming beach.
- Special children’s play areas.
- Outdoor gyms and sporting areas for volleyball, football and padel.
- Stations of jet ski docking.
- Staffed beachfront sitting areas.
Al Mamzar Corniche
Nearly 1.25 million square feet in area, this segment targets privacy and high-end experiences. It includes:
- The original 24/7 women-only beach in the world, which is enclosed with a fence.
- Sports and fitness establishments.
- Art walkways and landscaped areas.
- Areas used during seasonal activities and community events.
This restructuring makes Al Mamzar Beach one of the most modern coastal destinations in Dubai; with aspects of recreation, accessibility, as well as special experiences, such as the dedicated women-only beach.
