In recent times, UAE citizens might have seen social media posts in support of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan that encouraged residents across the UAE to pledge for the UAE President. It is an initiative to encourage the citizens and residents of the nation to show their gratitude for the leadership they are enjoying and for stability, security, and opportunities right across the country.
The digital initiative is led by Sandooq Al Watan, a non-profit organization, and is part of Erth Zayed Philanthropies’ efforts to unite the UAE’s different cultures to bathe them in the spirit of gratitude, commitment and loyalty.
What Is the UAE National Pledge?
The signing of this commitment was a literary phenomenon sparked by the experiences and stories of residents of the UAE. This is an effort to connect people of varying countries, cultures and languages under one umbrella of appreciation towards the nation’s leadership. The campaign provides an opportunity for the community to come together and reprioritize its values that have contributed to the growth and success of the UAE.
How to Sign the UAE National Pledge Online
It’s easy to join and fully digital. People can register on the official site, pledge.ae and finish their registration in a matter of minutes. The site is translated into several languages such as:

- Malayalam
- Chinese
- Filipino
Users are given an opportunity to enter their name and e-mail before stating which option they wish to participate in on the platform.
Who Can Participate?
It is accessible to everyone in the UAE – UAE nationals and UAE residents alike. Backing the project according to the General Secretariat of the Cabinet which was confirmed by Sandooq Al Watan, is also urging ministries, federal authorities, and government institutions across the country to participate in the project.
Is There Any Cost to Sign?
No. The UAE National Pledge is open and honourable for all to sign and is without any charges.
Can Family Members Be included?
Yes. Family can be added during pledge process. Individuals are currently able to have up to 10 family members on one submission.
Why Was the Initiative Launched?

What Happens After Signing?
There is an award certificate that is downloadable at the end of the pledge recognition. This certificate is available to save, share online or print. They can be downloaded from the site, both in landscape and portrait mode.
